Little Gym Mid-Season Showcase - January 9th, 2012
Ethan really loves his Gymnastics class at Little Gym. Last week, they had a mid-season showcase to show the parents everything they've learned so far... with the holidays and illnesses, he'd missed the few classes before this one, so I didn't know they were having a show and didn't have my camera with me, so I took pictures with my phone and posted them to Facebook. You can check out all of the pics here
Becca's 1st Haircut - January 21st, 2012
At 20 months, it was about time for Becca to get her fist haircut. She has such cute curls, but it's been getting a bit unruly, so I took her to my hairdresser that has been doing my hair for the past 7 years. He has been with me through getting engaged, pregnant, married, the birth of Ethan, Ethan's first haircut, pregnant again, and the birth of Becca, so it was only fitting that he also do Becca's first haircut. I want her hair to grow long, so he just cleaned it up a bit. As always, he did a great job and she handled it all like a pro, just sitting there while it was all going on.

Snow! - January 21st, 2012
Last night we had our first real snow of the winter season. Ethan woke up this morning and was SO excited and wanted to immediately go out and make a snowball. It wasn't more than just about an inch and mainly ice, but that didn't matter to my two little snow bunnies. They had a fun time getting in their snow suits, boots, hats and gloves and running around in it at the playground this morning.
Hook 'Em Horns! - January 13th, 2012
This past Friday was Jersey Day at the kid's daycare. Since their Uncle and Grandad both went to school in Austin, we dressed them up in their best Texas Longhorns outfits.
Happy New Year!! - December 31st, 2011-January 1st, 2012
What a wonderful year this has been. Both of the kids have grown so much over the last year and continue to bring us endless amounts of joy each and every day. We are lucky to have such a wonderful family and to be able to have our kids spend time with their grandparents as much as they do.
New Year's Eve was Grandma's last evening in town, so before she went to the airport, we took some nice pictures of her and the kidlets.
The kiddos spent New Year's Eve at Mima and Papa's house with their cousin Byron and their Aunt Amy & Uncle Daniel while Chris and I spent the evening out with some friends. The next day we joined everyone out at their house and spent the first day of the new year together with everyone. We spent the day playing at the playground out back, watching football and Mom and I made dinner with the traditional New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas. After dinner, we got all of the kids in their jammies and sat them down to get a nice picture of the cousins together. Then everyone burned off the last of their energy running through the house with Papa before we headed home for the night.
